Hey there!
It's time to hit the ground runnin again. :) Opportunity has once again blessed me and presented itself. A guy by the name of Ralph from down the street is willing to teach me how to play drums, and tonight when I went down to rock out with him (which was by-far one of the best jam sessions I've ever had), he really liked a lot of my songs and he let me borrow his Fostex MR-8HD Digital Multitracker recording station. It has everything that I need. It's nearly as big as my amp and brand new!! :P I'm in heaven. But I treat this as a sign... I HAVE to stay motivated. I am the force that will make my dreams come alive, and It's up to me (much like it's up to you) to MAKE IT HAPPEN. "Impossible" isnt a word... Its an excuse. And thats why I live on the saying "Anything Is Possible"... That's what builds an empire of success, one layer at a time. And now, this is where I need to become ablaze with self determination, refresh myself and get that look in my eye again. That look I get when I day-dream of me on stage. (not arrogantly)... The voices of 50,000 fans flooding the stage, A shiver down my spine and goosebumps on the skin as I look up see the crowd. The music begins... The bass in my chest. "HIT THE LIGHTS" I yell as I turn on the mic, run center stage... "HELLLOOOO L-AAAY!" pick up my guitar, slam the strings as the lights flash to what I'm playing. Then, after every song, smiling at the crowd, make them laugh at something, and finally tell the world everything I want to say... That!... That is what that look in my eye represents. The look that nobody can break. That will never go away. The look that keeps me playing even when I cant play no more. I WILL NOT give up. I do this for you guys. To show you that no matter where you come from.. Or how low ou start.. Anything Is Possible. And I'm not going to let you guys down. Thats a promise... Now, back to whats going on. Whew! Lol... I called back Full Sail today, and the gal I need to speak with was packed so I didnt get a chance to talk to her. But, I did call 4 times, and I plan to call again tomorrow. I look forward to it. Especially now that I'm back on my game. So, look forward to that tomorrow. Also, look forward to some new songs. I'm not sure how much longer it will be. But once I figure out this new machine, I will definately have some crazy new stuff for you. Most likely with me playing drums as well now. :P well, I have to go.
Smile,
Thomas Thomas II
